Mrs. Frances Loraine Tegeler's Obituary
Frances Loraine Tegeler was born in Blue Mountain, Arkansas on April 19, 1925. She was married to Harold Joseph Tegeler on July 21, 1955 and they were married for over 55 years until his death in March of 2011. She is survived by her two sons, Mark Wayne Tegeler of Houston, Texas and Michael Joseph Tegeler and his wife Tracey of Dickinson, Texas. She has three grandchildren, Tiffany Kaylen Tegeler, Kyra Ann Tegeler, and Tyler Joseph Tegeler. Frances had a hard life when she was young. Her family was homeless at times and she worked in the fields picking cotton to help earn what was needed to support them. She was a loving wife to Harold and a devoted and proud mother of her two sons who have proven their mettle in their honor and care of her in this last season of her life. She has done her best over the years to keep in touch with the many growing branches of her family. Frances was a good neighbor and friend who, along with her husband, shared the bounty of their gardens through the years. She tended a vegetable garden right alongside his and would grow her okra long after he had given up on that crop due to the heat of the summer. She loved flowers and would often be photographed with her azaleas or other blooming plants she had grown. She was the best Mother-in-Law a girl could have. From those early days when she would cook dinner for the newlyweds several nights a week, to the infant and pre-school days of caring for and spoiling grandchildren, to the season of giving up her independence, she did so with love and never complaining. Frances, you are loved, you will be missed by many and have been welcomed into God's arms already. Well done, good and faithful servant.
