Floyd Michael Johnson, 72, of Pearland, Texas, passed on December 27, 2023. He was born on April 7, 1951, in Meridian, Mississippi. Mike was a loving husband to Cay Johnson and a devoted father to Kim Davis, husband, Matt Faison and Teresa Fleharty, husband Trace Fleharty. He was also a cherished grandfather to Justin Davis, Maddie Voorhies, Tori Fleharty, and Tyler Fleharty.
Mike will be remembered for his quiet and giving personality, and his love for his family. He had a great sense of humor and was known for his jokes. Family time was important to him, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. In his free time, Mike enjoyed gambling, finding excitement in the thrill of the chance.
Mike had a successful career of 36 years in the fasteners industry at Big H Corporation. He dedicated his time and expertise to this field, leaving a lasting impact on those he worked with. He was a hardworking individual who took pride in his work.
Services to honor Mike’s life will be held at SouthPark Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas, on Saturday, the 6th of January, at 10 am. Visitation will start at 9 am. The funeral home has been entrusted with assisting the family during this difficult time.
Mike is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Johnson, his mother, Deloris Johnson, and his brother, Leo Whitney. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will life on in the hearts of his loved ones.
