Felipe A. Delgado's Obituary
Felipe Delgado Alatorre was born in Venustiano Carranza, Durango on August 4, 1920. Felipe married Demetria Sandoval Mesa on December 22, 1940. Felipe is survived by 11 children: Pilar, Micaela, Maria Luisa, Alicia, Maria del Socorro, Maria Elena, Elvira, Manuela, Felipe, Rosa, and Raul. Felipe is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, and 2 younger brothers. Felipe was preceded in death by two brothers, Pilar and Juan, and his son, Armando. Felipe worked most of his life in agriculture while living in Mexico. Felipe moved to the United States in 1982 and resided in Houston, Texas for 34 years alongside his beautiful family. Felipe is well known for the caring attitude he shared with all whom he met. Felipe's greatest pride was his family; he loved, cherished, and cared for each member of his family. Felipe was a hard-worker and a man full of faith in Jesus Christ. Felipe Delgado passed away in his home of many years on September 30, 2016 surrounded by his children. All of Felipe's funeral services will take place at South Park Funeral Home. On Friday, October 7, 2016, a viewing will begin at 4 pm followed by a rosary at 7pm. Burial services will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 1 pm.
