Mrs. Felicia Armas' Obituary
Felicia was born in Stafford, Texas on January 16, 1949 to Reyes (Ray) and Felicia Linares, Felicia was the first of five children.
Felicia was a very giving person. She enjoyed going out to eat and taking weekend trips. She had lots of fun on her numerous trips, most of which were in going to visit friends and family. Felicia enjoyed going to visit Bertha and Aunt Margie. She referred to them as “the girls”. Felicia was married to Jose Candido Armas on October 1, 1977. They were blessed with 42 years of marriage. Felicia and Candy had no children of their own but enjoyed spoiling their nieces and nephews.
Felicia died at age 71 on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Felicia died in her sleep, in the comfort of her own home. Her desire to go home to Heaven was brought up quite often in conversation. Felicia accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior around 1967. She has so many devotional books that she read or listen to on cassette. Her desire was strong to learn all she could in preparation to witness to others.
Felica is survived by her loving husband, Jose Candido Armas; her sisters: Esther L. Zapata and Rachel Linares; bothers; Victor Linares and Johnny Linares; her nieces: Monica Armas and Andrea Neff; her nephew: Roberto (Bobbie) C. Armas, Adam Joseph Zapata; great-nephews: Jonathan Reid, Seth Sanders, and James Neff.
Remember
Fill not your heart with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow. Remember the joy, the laughter, the smile. I’ve only gone to rest for a little while. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief. So dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am now, but as I used to be. Because I will remember you all, and look on with a smile. Understand in your hearts, I’ve only gone to rest for a little while.
