Evalett Aileen Ponce's Obituary
Evalett Aileen Ponce, 12, of South Houston, Texas, passed away on November 4th, 2022. Evalett was born in Galveston, TX on July 10th, 2010. She attended Nelda Sullivan Middle School as a 6th grader. She attended Pearl Hall Elementary from pre-k through 4th grade. Growing up Evalett was always the silly one from us all. Her smile would always lit up the room. She was a kid with many talents. She played baseball one year, enjoyed playing her brand new guitar (she was eventually going to take lessons for Christmas). Evalett was a talented artist, she spent a lot of time drawing. She was a movie fanatic; you could always find her wanting to watch a movie. Her favorite movie since she was a kid has always been the Minions. She also loved her sister Adriana teaching her all about Marvel movies and super heroes. This tomboy princess loved her Jordans, long graphic t-shirts, loved getting her nails done and playing with makeup but she hated wearing dresses and heels. Evalett desired to do many things in life. She wanted to become a veterinarian for animals. She also wanted to become TikTok and YouTube famous. She was very creative, she would edit cool videos and make remixes of songs. She had a YouTube channel of almost a thousand subscribers. Evalett was that talented and she worked very hard to become something big in life. Evalett grew up close to her family. Her mom, Maria Eva Lemus, was her best friend she talked to everyday, she told her everything as an innocent child would. She was loved dearly by her siblings Josselyn Aymee Garza, Adriana Izbeth Ponce, Robet Osvaldo Lemus and Alyssa Crystal Lemus. Our family prayed for a baby sister and God blessed us with a miracle. Evaleet had a best friend named Camila that she would always talk about and told us how much she loved her. Evalett had an interesting mind, she was in love with her handsome dog named Firulais. She would talk to her mom all the plans she had for her Quinceañera and that her dog Firulais would be her main chambelan. Gone at a young age, Evalett will be missed. She joins her grandparents, Francisca Bautista De La O and Braulio De La O; her cousins, Daisy Morales and Michael Gutierrez. The family of Evalett Aileen Ponce wishes to thank everyone who has helped our family in such difficult times. Thank you for all the support given to our mother Maria Eva Lemus. It is not easy to lose your baby and bury her. Thank you everyone.
