Eva Nell Lloyd's Obituary
Eva Nell Lloyd was born October 19, 1927, in Malakoff, Texas and passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 96 in Atascocita, Texas. She was surrounded by loving family. Eva was a devoted wife, married to her beloved husband, L. T. Lloyd for an incredible 78 years. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love and treasured memories. Eva was a loving and caring mother to her daughter Peggy Lloyd, and her sons: Donald Lloyd, Michael Lloyd, and Roger Lloyd. She also cherished her sister, Jerry Sue Hood. Eva was a doting Grandmother to 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Eva was preceded in death by her father, Alvie Lafayette Pennington, her mother Oma Elizabeth Matthews Pennington, her brother Bobby Wayne Pennington and her grandson Samuel Hollis Roberts III. Eva was consistent in her faith and devotion to Jesus Christ her entire life. Eva’s memory will forever be treasured by her family and friends. A Viewing will be at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A ceremony to celebrate Eva’s life will be held at Second Baptist Church, North Campus in Kingwood, Texas on Thursday, February 22, 2024 @ 10:30 a.m. Please join her family in honoring the life and legacy of Eva Nell Lloyd, a remarkable woman whose kindness, strength, and love touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, and her memory will live on in our hearts forever.
