Estela Mendoza's Obituary
We are sad to announce that Estela Mendoza, our beloved "Mimi" passed away on June 7th 2023 at the age of 82.
Estela Mendoza was born in Honduras on May 12 1941. Estela gave birth to 3 children in Honduras. Rosa, Liliana, and German. Years passed, Estela decided to move to Los Angeles, California where she had her fourth child, Robert. Estela worked many odd jobs in Los Angeles. Working in hotels, fish markets and she finally landed a good job at a clothing company, sewing shirts and logos. Estela made a decision to move to Houston, TX. where she would be reunited with her 3 children from Honduras. Moving to Houston was her last move and that's where she spent most of her life being a caretaker to 5 grandchildren. Jackie, Rosy, Albert, Joe and Alfred.
Estela enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and cleaning. Estela also enjoyed a nice cup of coffee with Mexican sweet bread. Estela spent most of her evenings watching "novelas" and sparking up conversations about everyone's day. Estela's biggest passion was raising and taking care of her 5 grandchildren. Estela also had the privilege to raise and care of her great grandchild, Desiree. Estela had a big heart, she was kind hearted and forgiving. Her pleasant personality touched many lives that she met.
Estela leaves behind 3 children to cherish her memories. A son , Robert and 2 daughters, Rosa and Liliana. Estela also leaves behind 5 grandchildren. Jackie, Rosy, Albert, Joe and Alfred. Estela also leaves behind 6 great grandchildren. Desiree, Alexis, Peyton, Gabby, Jaecee and Carlee.
