Esperanza "Ansing" Ladia's Obituary
Esperanza "Ansing" Ladia, age 96, of Pearland, Texas, passed away on October 6, 2023. She was born on April 30, 1927, in Claveria, Cagayan, Philippines, to the late Maximo and Placida Agtang. Esperanza was the beloved wife of the late Rev. Francisco B. Ladia, Sr. Together, they raised a loving family and shared many cherished memories.
Ansing was a devoted teacher, homemaker, and pastor's wife. She dedicated her life to nurturing her family and supporting her husband's ministry. Ansing's passion for education led her to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Education from the Philippine Christian College.
She had a variety of hobbies that brought her joy. She found solace in knitting, tending to her garden, and playing the harp. These activities allowed her to express her creativity and find peace in her daily life.
Ansing will be deeply missed by her sons, Ely (married to Ester) and Frankie, her daughter Nitz, and her grandchildren: Dona (Jon), Dennis (Vanie), Dominic (Angie), Debie, Marie, May (Karlo), Rex (Anne), Don Wayne (Rowena), and Joy. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren: Josh, Jon Paul, Julian, David, Nicole, Francis, Viana, Kaitlyn, Niqui, Rainier, Simon, Raphy, and Kevin.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Maximo and Placida Agtang, her loving husband, Francisco B. Ladia, Sr., her daughter Clementina L. Garcia, and her son Fidel A. Ladia.
A funeral service will be held on October 28, 2023, at 10:30 am at South Park Funeral Home, located at 1310 North Main Street, Pearland, Texas 77584. The viewing will begin at 9:30 am.
Esperanza "Ansing" Ladia will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother and great-grandmother. Her warm presence, kind heart, and unwavering faith will always be cherished by those who knew and loved her. Her legacy will continue to live on in the lives of her loved ones. May she rest in eternal peace.
