Ernest Ralph Jackson's Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of
Ernest R. Jackson announce his passing on
September 26, 2021 at the age of 66.
EJ was born on February 8, 1955 in Wichita
Falls, Texas. He, being part of a proud military
family also decided to join the Army. He earned
his black belt in Aikido as a teenager and with
that he joined Special Forces where he served
for 28 years.
EJ loved his fallen brothers and sisters and
would commemorate them at his church’s
Memorial Day services.
He is preceded in death by his father,
Ernest M. Jackson, mother Violet G.
Cancienne and parents in law Felizardo and
Julia Valdez. He will be lovingly
remembered by his wife Susana, as well as
his daughters Pamala Cooper and Tracey
Jackson, and other family and friends.
The family will receive friends and family at
South Park Funeral Home and Cemetery on
Tuesday, October 12th 2021, for services
from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
Final visitation at South Park, Wednesday
October 13th, at 10:00am, internment to
follow at Houston National Cemetery ,
10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. Houston, Tx
77038.
