Mr. Ernest G. Bertram, 88, of Pearland, TX passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 in Houston, TX. Mr. Bertram served in the Us Airforce during WWII, retired from the Houston police Department and a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church. Read Obituary
Mr Bertram, I will always remember the twinkle in your eye à nd your wonderful welcoming smile. You were always so kind to me. Thank you for sharing your knowledge fig trees, gardening and of course tomatoes! As I Garden and take care of the tomatoes I think of you. Knowing you enhanced my life. You raised a great family, served our country and now it is your turn to rest in peace.

Our family was very sorry to hear of my precious cousin, Ernest. I loved him very much. I remember him from a very young childhood because he would come to mom's home and visit often with his brothers. He was special to me in many ways. Rick, I just learned of your Dad's passing this afternoon and want you, your mom and brothers, Kim and the boys to know that you're all in my thoughts and prayers. Though I wasn't around him that often, I know how much you loved your Dad (and your mom) from the many good things you had to say about them from time to time. Like I miss my parents every time I think about them, I've grown to know that they are now in a better place at home with the Lord, and know also that your Dad is now in that better place.
