Mr. Eric Martin Schmidt's Obituary
Eric Martin Schmidt, born on August 17, 1980, went to be with the Lord his Savior on December 7, 2018. He grew up in Pearland, Texas and graduated from Pearland High School with honors on 1998. Even though he faced many medical challenges, he persevered and earned his BA in Business Finance from the University of Houston. Through all the obstacles that came his way, Eric never lost his faith in God.
Eric is preceded in death by his father Dennis Schmidt, his grandparents Erhart and Estella Schmidt. He is survived by mother Cindy Schmidt, brother Brandon Schmidt, Brandon’s wife Dao and their son Logan, his grandparents Michael and Dorothy Schattel.
Eric grew up deer hunting and fishing with his father in Carmine, Texas, and enjoyed the annual trip to Yorktown, Texas to turkey hunt and visit his favorite cousin Peggy Schafer and her daughter Taryn.
A private Graveside Service will be held at SouthPark Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas on December 12, 2018. Pallbearers are his brother Brandon Schmidt, uncle Mike Schattel, cousins Kenneth Stanilla, Kyle Stanilla, Amanda Johnson, and honorary pallbearer Brian Johnson.
Eric grew up in a very close and loving family and will be missed by all.
