Elvis Louis Bailey's Obituary
ELVIS LOUIS BAILEY, a bundle of joy, was born on August 12, 1948 in Bryan, TX to Dewitt and Hattie Mae Bailey. As life would seem too short to many, he was granted his angel wings on January 11, 2022.
Elvis was raised in Houston, TX where he attended public schools. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1969.
Elvis married the love of his life, Lillian Fanuiel on January 8, 1972 with whom he celebrated “50 years of Marriage” on Jan 8,2022. To their union two daughters were born, Kristin and Blythe.
Elvis accepted Christ and an Early age being baptized at New Hope Baptist Church. He was a faithful longtime member and trustee of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a dedicated Usher.
He was a proud employee of Merrick Brothers Construction from which he retired.
Elvis was preceded in death by his Father , Dewitt Bailey and Sister, Sandra Davis
He Leaves to Cherish his memories; Mother and Step-Father: Hattie Mae McGowan and Sanford McGowan; Wife: Lillian Bailey; Daughters: Kristin Bailey-Gilbreath (Charles) and Blythe Bailey-Gilbert (Sean); Grandchildren: Christopher Gilbreath, Sean Gilbert, Shona Gilbert; Siblings: Mary Bailey Joubert, John Bailey (Jo Ann), Walter Bailey (Jaquelyn), Willie Lee Bailey (Alma Faye), Angela Brooks (Victor), Diana Dill (Chris)
Elvis also leaves a host of additional family members and friends.
