Mrs. Elvira Losoya Gutierrez's Obituary
Born on July 26, 1935, in Midfield, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2012. Elvira is survived by her husband of 56 years, Otilio P. Gutierrez. Daughters, Teresa Andrado and husband Jerry, Sarah Benavides and late husband Fernando, Bernardina Avila and husband Francisco, Jr., Stella Saenz and husband Alejandro, Margaret Damian. Sons Martin Gutierrez and Phillip Gutierrez. She is preceded in death by her parents Felipa and Estanislao Losoya, sister Mary Figueroa and brother Mike Losoya.
Brothers: Robert Losoya, Joe Losoya and Simon Losoya.
Sisters: Eloise Yanez, Lenora Trevino, Josie Tamez, Belle Casteneda and Adelfa Lucio.
Grandchildren: Emily Rodriguez and husband Jose, Victoria Lopez and husband Jose, Jessica Gutierrez, Henry Benavides, Alex Saenz, Taylor Damian, Alyssa Benavides, Francisco Avila, III, Jason Saenz and Christopher Damian.
Great-Grandchildren: Kimberly McGhee, Ava Lopez and Benjamin Lopez. And numerous step grand and great-grand children. Elvira suffered a severe stroke in 1991. She was wheelchair bound for 21 years. That didn't stop her from being the loving person she was. She suffered a heart attack on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. She was in critical condition and unresponsive, at one point she awoke and we were able to tell her we loved her and she told us back. She looked up to the ceiling and we knew she was looking at angels. She is now in a better place with our Lord, our God. She is now in Heaven.
