Mrs. Elsie Fay Johnson's Obituary
Elsie Fay Johnson, 85, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 in Houston, Texas and is now free from the illness and pains she had suffered these many last years. She was born January 25, 1933 in Aransas Pass, Texas. She married the love of her life of 69 years, John M Johnson in 1949. She was a loving and devoted wife, incredible mother to her kids, and the most wonderful Grandmother, who gave to everyone her love and devotion every day. She was also well known and admired by so many for her 25 year career at NASA in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Jessie Mary Beasley and Clarance Lee Goldsmith; Brothers: Jasper Goldsmith and Norman Goldsmith; Sons: Dennis Johnson and Danny Johnson. She is survived by her husband John; Son: David Johnson; Daughter-In-Law: Emily Johnson; Grandchildren: Chad Johnson (Liesel), Jonathan Johnson (Michelle), Ryan Johnson (Emili), Kerrie Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson; Great Grandchildren: Taylor Johnson and David Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to give thanks to Mary and Ray Todd (Niece/Husband) for the love, attention and time they gave to Elsie during these last few years when she was ill and suffering. Also, to thank Rosemary Johnson for her many years of special service, dedication, and care she gave to Elsie.
