Mrs. Eloise Rodriguez's Obituary
Eloise "Virgie" Rodriguez, age 71 of Houston, TX passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Methodist Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
Virgie was born on April 30, 1946 in Houston, TX where she lived her entire life.
Virgie is preceded in death by her late husband Juan "Pinky" Rodriguez; her parents Willie and Eloiza Torres; and her granddaughter Jennifer Thorns.
Virgie is survived by her three children Rosie LeBleu (Ronnie), Joe DeHoyos, Mark Garza (Angie); grandsons Nigel & Nicolas Garza; Cody & Chase LeBleu; three great-grandsons Desavian, Xzaivier, and Xairiane Thorns; siblings Steve Torres and Liz Shannon.
Virgie loved her family and friends and never passed up an opportunity to dance and have a good time. Her cat "Geno" and her beautiful plants were her passion. Virgie also enjoyed volunteering at the animal shelter and the elderly rehabilitation center nearby.
At Virgie's request there will be a viewing and Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 26th located at 501 Tidwell Rd., Houston, TX 77022.
Viewing will be from 11AM until 2PM with Mass starting at 2PM. immediately following there will be a gathering for the family at 10130 Silvercrest St., Houston, TX 77076.
