Mrs. Elizabeth Vinitha Thomas' Obituary
Elizabeth Vinitha Thomas, age 36 passed away Thursday February 6th, 2020 at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. She was born November 10th, 1983 in Kottayam, Kerala to Thomas and Philomina Kavanan. She graduated valedictorian of her 2002 class of Madison High School in Madison Heights, Michigan. She attained Bachelor of Nursing from Oakland University in 2005. She married Tobin Thomas on July 3rd, 2008. She worked as a registered nurse in Detroit, Denver, and Dallas. She was a loving mother to her 3 children; Naina(10), Megha(7) and Nikhil(4) and a devoted wife to Tobin. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. She made friends with ease and forged strong meaningful relationships with everyone who came into her life. She later moved to Houston where she was undergoing treatment for the past two years during her brave fight against cancer. Despite her pain and struggles, she found ways to comfort others. She conveyed strength so others could go on with life without feeling despaired. She is survived by her husband Tobin, parents, brothers, children, 6 nieces, 3 nephews, and cousins. Family, friends and others whose lives Vinitha touched are invited for the Wake at Immanuel Marthoma Church 12803 Sugar Ridge Blvd, Stafford Texas 77477 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Sunday February 9th, 2020 to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course just chat. The funeral services will be held at Sehion Marthoma Church 3760 14th St, Plano Texas 75074 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 on Sunday February 16th.
