EFFIE MAYBEL PECK (1926-2015)
Effie Maybel Peck, 89, passed away on December 29, 2015, at her daughter’s home, Linda Eakins. She was born in Viola, Tennessee on February 27, 1926.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 05, 2016 at 12:30 PM at South Park Funeral Home at 1310 North Main Street, Pearland, Texas 77581. Phone Number 281-485-2711.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her companion and the love of her life, Clarence Kenneth Peck, mother and father, Thelma and George Roller, brother, Jimmie Roller and her stepson, James Ray Peck.
She is survived by her children, Linda Ann and husband Gary Eakins, Bonnie Peck Hill, Darrell Wayne and wife Alice Peck and Ricky Clarence Peck.
She is also survived in life by her sisters, Jennie Womack, Bessie Hickman, Gladys Cavison, Betty Womack and Vera Hope.
Her grandchildren, Kimberly Dion and husband Chuck Lane, Robert Ralph Jr. and wife Angela Hill, Amy Renee Green, Ricky Michael Peck, Christopher Eric and wife Kathlene Hill, Jeremy Judson and wife Sandra Hill, Ricky Clarence Jr. and wife Melissa Peck, Lance Kenneth Peck, Misty Laura Dowling and Levi Patrick Peck.
Her great grandchildren, Chass Lane, Kailei Lane, Austin Blanton, Alexia Hill, Thomas Harthan Hill, Cheyenne Hill, Valerie Hill, Dagen Hill, Caitlen Davis, Emryanna Green, Stephen Bodie Green, Kiley Peck, Katie Peck, Maximus Peck and Alex Peck.
Her great, great grandchildren, Caiden Stevens, Caleb Stevens and Tara Blanton.
Special thanks for all the support, love and thoughtfulness from James and Fran Hickman, Jimmy Roller, Rosemary Reed, Debbie Booth , Mary Carraway and Charlie Flanagan, Chaplain.
She loved life and was loved. She will be truly missed by her loved ones and everyone that knew her. Her youngest son, Ricky Peck and grandson, Levi cared for her until they were unable to give her the care she needed. Bonnie Hill and Darrell Peck assisted with any special assistance throughout the years that she needed . Her loving daughter Linda Eakins and her husband Gary, her granddaughter Kimberly Lane and husband Chuck cared for her at their home and gave her the loving care she needed until she went home to be with her husband and family in Heaven.
