Mr Edward F. Gentempo's Obituary
Edward "Eddie" F Gentempo, 83, passed away to his eternal home on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Eddie was born to Joseph and Pasqualina Gentempo on August 16, 1931 in Newark, NJ.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Margaret. Surviving are his children from his marriage to Mary Lou Gentempo: Joseph (Denise), Charles (Ina), Peter (Rachel), Mary Beth (Billy), Angela (Nicky), Edward, Allen and Gina, brothers Joseph and John Gentempo, fourteen grand-children and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many close friends and a large extended family with special mention of Sandy Embesi who he considered a Brother.
Visitation will be held on Thursday evening, May 14, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:00pm in the Chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 9:30am at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, 10727 Hartsook Drive, Houston 77034. Burial will follow at SouthPark Cemetery, 1310 N. Main St, Pearland, 77581.
