Mr. Edward Brown Adams' Obituary
Dr. Edward Brown Adams went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 20, 2015 and was reunited with his beautiful bride of 69 years, Juanita, who passed away only 7 months earlier. Dr. Adams was born November 19, 1923 in Brownwood, Texas to John and Edna Adams. After serving in the military during WWII and graduating from Texas A&M, Dr. Adams taught 31 years for the Houston Independent School District. He was best known for his love of the Lord and studying God’s Word. He pastored many years in the Houston area and founded United Missionary Services, Inc., helping missionaries all over the world and serving as their director until 2014. In 1980, he also started International Christian Institute, serving as President until 2014. Both are still operating today. Dr. Adams is survived by his son Bob and wife Judy; his daughter Carol Matthews; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 27th at 12:30 with visitation at 11:00am. Graveside service immediately following.
