Mrs. Edna Mae Lyles' Obituary
Edna Mae Lyles, 91, died March 23, 2012 at Palo Pinto General Hospital in Mineral Wells, TX.
Graveside Service is 1:30 PM Tuesday March 27, 2012 at SouthPark Funeral Home and Cemetery in Pearland, TX with her nephew Joseph Haslett officiating.
Edna was born July 19, 1920, in rural Fayette County, Illinois, the daughter Charles Renso and Edith Ann Aldridge Haslett.
She married Wilbur Glaze Lyles on December 14, 1940 in Illinois. He passed away on December 14, 1984 in Houston. They moved to Houston in 1942 where they raised their children. She loved her family and had a very close relationship with her siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Sebesta and husband Raymond of Pearland, TX, daughter, Betty Sue Fisher and husband Harold, Sr. of Mineral Wells, TX, son, Bruce Lyles and wife Heather of Sugarland, TX; brothers, Kenneth "Cap" Haslett and Leo (Betty) Haslett of St. Elmo, IL; nine grandchildren, Tanya, Raymond, II, Harold, Jr. (Buzz), Erick, Byron, Brandy, Chris, Carrie, and Jessica; great-grandchildren, NaToshya, Jessica, Justin, Savannah, and Nichols; great-great-grandchildren, Izabelle Reed and Jeremy Sowell; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, son Basil Charles Lyles, her parents, great-grandson Wade Fisher, sisters, THelma Calvert, Verla Hanson, Violet Love, Iva Kirby, and brothers, Willie, Bobby, Clarence, James, and Claude Haslett.
