Mrs. Edna Louise Farmer's Obituary
Edna Louise Farmer of Pearland, Texas passed away on January 11, 2011. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard, her precious daughter, Nancy and a sister, Joyce Connelly. She is survived by her son, William R. Farmer and wife Beverly J. Farmer; daughters, Lynette L. Franks and husband, George R. Franks and Susan E. Dotson and husband Johnny W. Dotson; grandchildren, Bryan Dotson and wife Keri, Scott Dotson, Christopher Franks and Andrew Franks; great-grandchildren, Peyton and Presley Dotson; sister, Patsy Jean Leach; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Mrs. Farmer was a 1940 graduate of St. Anthony's School of Nursing in Amarillo, Texas and she also held a B.S. in Nursing from the University of St. Louis. Her career spanned 20 years at Hermann Hospital in Houston and Pasadena Bayshore Hospital as an R.N. in the premature nursery. She was a former member of the Nurses Association of American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. The family will be holding a private Celebration of Life Service to honor Mrs. Farmer.
