Mrs. Edna "Polly" Carraway Davis' Obituary
Edna “Polly” Carraway Davis, 76, of Deer Park, Texas passed away peacefully in her sleep and went to be with the Lord on September 25, 2018. She was born in McComb, Mississippi on December 18, 1941. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Curtis Denver Johnson, her loving husband of 35 years Samuel “Sammy” Phillip Davis, Jr., her parents Herman Paul and Willena Boggs Carraway, and her brother Rodney Carraway. She is survived by her daughters Janet Diane, and Dana Elizabeth Johnson DiMarco (Daniel), granddaughter Reilly DiMarco, stepsons, Raymond Penney, and Phillip Davis (Lucy), their children and grandchildren, sisters June Macon and Clovis Smith, brother-in-law, Clarence Smith, sister-in-law Cynthia (Mike) Davis, brother-in-law Freddy Davis and numerous nieces and nephews. Polly enjoyed reading, cooking, embroidering, listening to music, and watching crime mysteries. She loved watching her plants grow and hummingbirds fly by.
A visitation will be held on Sunday September 31, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 North Main St., Pearland, Texas 77581. Services will be held the following day on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10am at South Park Funeral Home followed by Interment.
