Ms. Edith Darden's Obituary
Edith Tamage Moser Darden, 91, of Nassau Bay went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 22. Edith was born on December 4, 1918 in Avant, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Moser and Dr. Paul Darden, her parents, Howard Wesley and Della Ann Tamage, and four siblings. Her survivors include one sister, Alice Hensley of Claremore, Oklahoma; one son, Cecil (Elizabeth) Moser, three daughters, Carole (Frank) Truksa, Gloria (Frank) Buce, Sharon (Joe) Rodriguez, and one step daughter, Paula (Rodney) Franks. She was blessed with thirteen grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren, eighteen great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Edith was employed with the Houston Independent School District for over thirty years, was a graduate of the University of Houston, and was an active member of the Southeast Church of Christ. She was a compassionate and caring person, with an inner strength and beauty, and will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
