Mrs. Dortha Charlene "Dottie" Wilson's Obituary
Dortha Charlene Wilson, “Dottie” to most, joined her beloved husband of 47 years in Heaven on March 14, 2019 at the age of 85. Born in Lamar, Arkansas, she grew up a “farm girl”, the eldest of five brothers and sisters. She always loved gardening and feeding the birds that came to visit her yard. Of all the jobs she held throughout her years, the one she dearly loved doing was her last - that of Membership Secretary at First United Methodist Church of Pearland where she was instrumental in the Caring Ministries. It truly embodied her spirit of love and caring for others.
Dottie is survived by her son, James M. Wilson and his wife, Lisa; daughter, Sue A. Schmidt and her husband, Mark; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Cadengo and her husband, Edgar, Jessica Wilson, and Davin Hutcheson; 3 beautiful and precious great-grandchildren, Daniel Cadengo, Julianna Cadengo, and Carolina Cadengo; brother, Wayne Jennings; sister, Aleta Grace and her husband Clarence; and 10 nieces and nephews.
