Dorothy Mae Noel's Obituary
Dorothy Mae Noel, aged 87, gained her angel wings on December 31, 2022. Dorothy was born on March 8, 1935, in the small town of Neosho, Missouri. She lived in Pasadena and Deer Park, TX, before moving to Montgomery, TX where she passed away peacefully.
Dorothy grew up in Carthage, MO where she met and later married United States Army Private Eugene “Gene” Noel on August 20, 1950. They shared 29 years of marriage together, between Missouri and Texas, before his passing in October of 1979.
Dorothy was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She loved spending time with family, playing games, watching game shows and eating her favorite snack Munchos. She attended Deer Park First Baptist Church before moving to Montgomery in April 2022. After moving to Montgomery she attended Lonestar Cowboy Church.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Florence Morgan, her husband Eugene Edward Noel, brothers John (J.T.) Morgan, Paul Morgan, and Everett (Charlie) Morgan, sister Imogene (Bonnie) Barker, son Dennis Noel, and daughter Patty Lyons.
Dorothy is survived by her loving family: sister Mary “Maxine” Butler, sister-in-law Carol McGinty, children Eugene “Eddie” Noel Jr., Cindy Thiele and husband Robert Woods, Lloyd Noel and wife Deborah, and Julie Goodroe and late husband Bill, as well as 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.
