Mrs. Dorothy "Dottie" Kasmiersky's Obituary
Dorothy “Dottie” Lou Kulhanek Kasmiersky, 83, passed away peacefully at home September 24, 2015 in Houston, TX. Born March 22, 1932 in Ellinger, TX, she married Leonard John Kasmiersky November 18, 1951 and raised a beautiful family of 5 children. She was active in the community, one of the founding members of St. Augustine Catholic Church. A lifelong sports fan, she loved gardening, birds, dancing, cards, and spending time at the beach.
Dorothy was preceded in death by parents Robert and Annie Kulhanek, husband Leonard, brother Daniel, brother-in-law James Peters, nephews Michael and Bradley Peters, and son-in-law John Michael Carpenter. She is survived by sisters Rosemary Peters; Jane and husband Larry Irving; sister-in-law Loraine Orsak Kasmiersky, sons Steven and wife Judy; Thomas and wife Belinda; daughters Theresa (Terri) and husband Gary Parker Sr.; Kathleen Carpenter; Dianne and husband Doug Randall; grandchildren Matt, Megan, Annie, Huling V (Houston), Conrad, Dalton, Kyle, and Tyler, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass Wednesday 9/30/2015 11AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church. 5560 Laurel Creek Way. Houston, TX 77017. Burial at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery at 1310 N Main St. Pearland, TX 77581.
