Ms. Dorothy C. Hill's Obituary
Dorothy C. Hill, age 94, was born on July 17, 1922 to Walter and Beatrice Hill in Houston, Tx. She Died on October 20, 2016 in Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bryan Hill. Dorothy was a lifelong Houstonian and led a very active life. Her love of painting and works express her true love for life and travel. After retiring from her career in insurance, Dorothy volunteered in several groups in her community to include; Servants of Christ United Methodist Church, sewing group at Clearlake Hospital, Stich and Such, Lift, Garden Villas Garden Club and a painting club.
She is survived by her sister in law, Elizabeth A. Hill; nephew, Rick Hill (wife Joni and children); nieces, Connie Hohmann (and children), Beverly Hill (and child), Randa Fox and many great nieces and nephews. Hers’ is a life well celebrated and will be dearly missed by family and all who knew her.
