Mrs. Dorothy Gatlin Hayes' Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Gatlin Hayes, 89, of Woodville, Texas entered into rest on Sunday, December 5, 2010. Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rabon Hayes in 1969 and granddaughter, Casey Robertson in 1993. Mrs. Hayes proudly served her country in the U.S. Navy during WWII being Honorably Discharged in San Diego, California in 1944, a rare feat indeed for women of her time. Survivors include daughters, Lynn Pryor and her husband, Ronnie, Suzzie Bull and her husband, Stanley and Robbie Jones and her husband, Jimmy. The last of eleven children, Dorothy also leaves to cherish her memory ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
