Dorothy was a neighbor, across the street from Billie Duff.
When Billie became bed-ridden, Dorothy stayed with Billie on the weekends for 4 years, until Billie passed away in July 2023. Dorothy always prepared wonderful meals and homemade pastries. She would clean the flower beds, water plants. clean house and anything that needed to be done. She did this with a kind and loving heart.
Dorothy would bring her little dog, Teapot, across the scree to see Billie. This always brightened the day for Billie to play with Teapot.
Dorothy always had a beautiful yard and garden. In season, Dorothy would bring fresh tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and oranges to share with Billie.
Dorothy's kindness and generosity will always be remembered and greatly missed in the neighborhood. She was like Billie's sister.
We pray for God's comfort for Dorothy's family. Psalms 34:8 'The Lord is near to those of a broken heart.'

Dorothy recommended me to her neighbor, Billie Duff. I took care of Billie for four years, and during that time, Dorothy would bring Billie and I homemade cinnamon rolls, zucchini bread and many wonderful meals.
Dorothy shared her vegetables from the garden. In season, we would enjoy the fresh tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and oranges.
We have many wonderful memories of Dorothy and her kindness. She was like a big sister to us.
