Mrs. Doris M. Branham's Obituary
Doris M. Branham, 82, formerly of Memphis, TN, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017, in Houston, TX, after a recent illness. She was born May 22, 1934, in Trenton, TN, and graduated from Bradford High School in 1953, in Bradford, TN. She had a career in banking for over 35 years in Memphis, TN. During her retirement, she enjoyed gardening and being outside in her yard. She attended Ashbury Methodist Church in Memphis, TN, and Pearland First United Methodist Church in Pearland, TX. She moved to Pearland, TX, in 2010 to be close to her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary V. (Jones) Howington, sister Mary Alice Blankenship, and special friend Bill Wilson. Survivors are her daughter Gina (Jeff) Robinson, and grandson Cory Robinson of Pearland, TX, and grandson Kyle (Kelley) Robinson, and great-granddaughter Claire Ayn Robinson, of Houston, TX, four sisters; Patsy (Bill) Howell of Medina, TN, Barbara (Tom) Sledge of Mt. Vernon, IL, Donna Crawford of McKenzie, TN, Kay Capek of Greenville, NC, and brother Mike Howington of Gleason, TN.
Friends and family are invited to SouthPark Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main, Pearland, TX 77581, on Saturday April 1, 2017, to remember and celebrate her life. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM.
