Mrs. Doris Marie Baxter, 88, of Garland, Texas passed away Monday, December 19, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rand Asa Baxter; parents, Elizabeth Rogers and Marvin Tynes; siblings, Billie Jean Walker, Doyle Tynes, Twila Worsham and grandson, Jeremy Davis. She is survived by daughters, Jane Schroeder and husband Ronnie, Beth Whitson and husband Bob, Martha Hollis; grandchildren, Gina Schroeder, Dori Alderman and husband Jake, Jana Davis, Lauren Davis, David Whitson and wife Jennifer, Steve Whitson and wife Angela, JR Hollis, Jr. and wife Liz, Albert Hollis and wife, Sabrina, Elizabeth Tichenor and husband Ryerson; great grandchildren, Ashley Alderman, Lindsey Alderman, Kaylen Davis, Avery Whitson, Kara Whitson, Knox Whitson, Hannah Hollis, Julia Holis, Teagan Hollis, Hadlee Hollis, Liam Tichenor, many nieces, nephews and a host of church families and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Southpark Funeral Home 1310 North Main St. Pearland, Texas 77581. Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, December 30, 2016 in the funeral home chapel.
