Donald Lee Evans' Obituary
Donald “Don” Lee Evans, 75, passed away peacefully at home on September 6, 2020. Don was born on September 16, 1944 in Brownwood, TX, son of Coy L. and Dorris D. Evans.
He was a United States Navy Veteran having served during the Vietnam war where he was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Don shared his love for the great outdoors with his children, grandchildren, and friends where he enjoyed many fun trips hunting and fishing.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his brother, Gerald Evans, and his wife of 41 years, Alice F. Evans.
Don is survived by his children, Donna Retta (Homero), Janelle Landry (Lennis), Angie Lawson, and Carol Carpenter, his grandchildren, Jordan, Hunter, Reagan, Jonathan, Joey, Christopher, Nicole, Michelle, and Clay, and several great grandchildren and wonderful friends.
Graveside services will be September 11, 2020 at 10:00am at South Park Funeral home at 1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX 77581
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
