Dolores Garay's Obituary
Houston- Dolores Garay, 89, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 23rd, 2017. She passed away peacefully in her home, following a long battle against multiple health issues.
She is survived by her eleven children: Jose G. Briseno, Magdaleno Briseno, Silvia Perez, Jose Luis Briseno, Rolando Briseno, Margie Coyer, Dolores Escobar, Miguel Briseno, Rosie Cantu, Juan Briseno, and Oscar Garay, and their spouses; she is also survived by thirty-six grandchildren, forty-seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, and many relatives and friends.
Dolores is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rogelio Garay (married November 29, 1973), as well as her parents, Leon Gomez and Angela Castillo.
She was born in Rancho el Ademe, Aldama, Mexico on January 22nd, 1928. Eventually, Dolores immigrated to Houston, Texas with her family where she remained the rest of her days. She was a well-known and highly sought out seamstress, as well as an exceptional cook. She was loved and adored by many. She shared her faith with everyone and was a powerful prayer warrior. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and kind heart, her love of birds and flowers, and the legacy she built that is continuously growing.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26th, 2017, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Freedom Fellowship 1201 N. Main St. Pearland, TX 77581.
Service will be held on Wednesday, December 27th, 2017, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at San Jacinto Funeral Home 14659 East Freeway Houston, TX 77015.
Burial will follow at South Park Funeral Home on 1310 N. Main St. Pearland, TX 77581
