Dianna Dee Sholars' Obituary
At 4:30pm Monday, August 28, 2017, Dianna Dee Sholars stepped into heaven. There is no doubt that the words she had longed to hear from her Savior, Jesus, "Well done good and faithful servant" filled her soul and brought a smile to her face.
Dianna was born Wednesday, May 5, 1954 in Houston, TX to parents, Benny O’Dell McGee and Alma Dee McGee.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Michael Wayne Sholars and their children, Kimberly Sholars, Brett & Morgan Sumners, Sherman & Ashley Sholars, and granddaughter, Lucy Sholars. She is also survived by her father Benny O'Dell McGee Sr., brother, Benny O’Dell McGee, Jr. and sister, Donna Glover. Dianna joined her mother, Alma McGee, and her sister, Debra Hayman upon her arrival to heaven.
Dianna’s passion was her family and she treasured every moment spent with them. She served as secretary at Gateway Church in Hockley for 15 years and was the voice of comfort and love to her family, church and community. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The Graveside Service for Dianna will be Friday, September 8th at 11:30am at South Park Cemetery located at 1310 North Main in Pearland.
The Memorial Service will be at 1:30pm at Gateway Church, 25314 Zube Rd. in Hockley. There will be a dinner for the family and friends following the service.
