Diana Flores Soliz's Obituary
Diana Flores Soliz passed away on March 4, 2022 while bravely battling cancer. She was born on July 26, 1966 in Houston, Texas. Daughter of parents Raymond Flores (1944-1990) and Henrietta Galvan. Beloved sister of Raymond Flores, Renee Flores, Veronica De La Garza, Robert Flores, John Flores. She is survived by her loving daughters Vanessa Flores, Regina Schult, and Stephanie Soliz. Sons Moses Flores, Eric Soliz, and Martin Soliz III; Grandkids Americo Salazar, Persayis Salazar, Brianna Medrano, Xavier Martinez, Isabel Martinez, Martin Soliz IV and spouse Martin Jr. Soliz.
A “wild-child” growing up, she always said how everything changed for her when she had her children. Her family was her sole focus, and she worried over and took care of them until the end, sometimes to the exclusion of her own needs. Diana had an amazing sense of humor and a beautiful laugh! Her wit was razor sharp and she was known to say the most shocking thing she could think of, in hopes of making you smile. She made her whole family laugh with her outrageous and exaggerated facial expressions, and all her silly sayings. She was kind, generous and compassionate. Even when she spoke in anger, she was often the first to apologize and try to heal what broken.
She loved her entire family, despite their quirks and disfunction. She worried about them, resented them, forgave them, and always kept on loving them. Diana will be desperately missed by all those that she’s left behind. Our hearts are so broken.
