Mr. Devin Ryan Mattlage's Obituary
Devin Ryan Mattlage, born in Houston, TX on February 4, 1990 passed away on October 3, 2010. As was his nature, Devin ultimately gave his life trying to help others in need. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles "Daddy Charles" Mattlage, Frankie "Grandmom" Brown and Nanaw and Papaw Maxey, and his brother, Chance Aaron Mattlage.
He is survived by his parents, Angela and Kevin Mattlage; aunts and uncles, Pam Hodges and husband Sam and Charlsie Whitney and husband Curtis, Darryl Maxey, Keith Maxey and Randy Mattlage and Kesandra Henderson; cousins, Blake, Jeried, Jason, Julie, Jordan, Scott and Lance; his loving girlfriend, Alisha Canfield; and a host of friends and other family.
A gathering of friends and family will be held Friday October 8, 2010 from 5-8 PM at SouthPark Funeral Home. The Celebration of Devin's life will take place Saturday October 9, 2010 at 12:30 PM in the SouthPark Funeral Home Chapel in Pearland, TX with burial to follow in SouthPark Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Houston SPCA at www.houstonspca.org.
