In Loving Memory of David Silva December 19, 1976 – July 24, 2025
With broken hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the unexpected passing of David Silva, who went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the age of 48. Born on December 19, 1976, in Harlingen, Texas, David spent most of his life in Pearland, TX, where he built a life grounded in faith, family, and love.
David was a man of humility, quiet strength, and deep compassion. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a loyal son and brother, and a faithful friend. His kind heart and gentle presence touched everyone who knew him. Whether offering encouragement, lending a hand, or simply listening, David’s life was defined by service to others.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Tammy Silva, and his cherished daughter, Gabbie Silva, who were the center of his world. He is also survived by his loving mother, Carmen Chronis, and father, Arnulfo Silva; his brother, Miguel Silva; father-in-law, William Grote; mother-in-law, Patricia Grote; sister-in-law, Christine Grote; and many other family members and close friends who will miss him dearly.
David's passing was sudden, and the family is deeply saddened and shocked by his loss. Yet in their grief, they find comfort in the memories of the love, warmth, and strength he shared with everyone around him.
A celebration of David’s life will be held at South Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX 77581, with visitation at 1:00 PM and the funeral service at 2:00 PM.
