Dear Louise, Carl, and family. I am brokenhearted for you as you navigate through this journey of suffering. David was delightful. He was intelligent, industrious, and seemed to never meet a stranger. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he never gave up his hope for the future. The loving family support you blessed him with was evident to all. God may have called him home, but take comfort in these words by D. L. Moody:
"Some day you will read in the papers that D.L. Moody of East Northfield, is dead. Don't you believe a word of it! At that moment I shall be more alive than I am now; I shall have gone up higher, that is all, out of this old clay tenement into a house that is immortal—a body that death cannot touch, that sin cannot taint; a body fashioned like unto His glorious body." Much love and prayers for comfort and peace. Joan Mastrangeli
