David Lynn Jensen's Obituary
David Jensen passed away on March 17, 2020 at his home in Spring, Texas. He was born on March 2nd and recently celebrated his 66th birthday.
Born in Houston, he was the son of Anton Junior Jensen and Hazel Virginia Jensen. He graduated from James Madison High School and continued his education through the Houston Police Department. He served 32 years before retiring as a Senior Police Officer at the Academy. After retirement, David continued to work at the Houston Country Club as their dedicated officer for special events.
David will be remembered as a caring friend, loving father, and amazing PawPaw. He was an overachiever and a hard worker who put his heart into everything he created. He had a simple look on life, always put others before himself and always enjoyed a good laugh. He loved riding his Harley, woodworking, being with his family, and socializing with good company.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Hazel Jensen; and brother, Chris Jensen. He is survived by his brother, Mark Jensen; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Ted Roberts; children, Justin and Cristen Jensen, Jill and Stephen Reifsteck, and Rick Vidrine Jr.; grandchildren, Owen Jensen, Reagan and Finley Reifsteck, and Madison Vidrine.
A private family burial will be held on March 27, 2020.
