David Gloria Moreno's Obituary
David Gloria Moreno, 69, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home in Baytown, Texas, on June 24, 2026. David was the first-born child of Amelia Moreno Gloria and Santos Gloria, born in Molina Enríquez, Mexico, on March 16, 1957. He earned a certification in accounting from the Prof. Moisés Sáenz Garza Academy.
He married Maria de Jesus Valenzuela on August 4, 1984, and they welcomed their first son, Wilfredo, exactly a year later. Together, they raised three children and built a life rooted in love, patience, and family unity. David established his own business to support his family, proudly serving the Texas community for more than 40 years.
He is survived by his mother, Amelia Gloria; his dedicated wife, Maria de Jesus; his three children, Wilfredo, Edna, and Evelyn; and his seven grandchildren, whom he loved deeply and dedicated his life to. He also earned the lasting respect and love of his daughter-in-law, Elizabeth, and his sons-in-law, Osbaldo and Luis, whom he embraced as his own. His surviving family are incredibly proud of and thankful for the hard-working, dedicated, and loving husband, father, and grandfather he was. They will forever hold close to their hearts the teachings, values, and memories he ingrained in them throughout his life.
A visitation honoring his life will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, beginning at 5pm at South Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on July 7, 2026, beginning at 9am at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas. A funeral service will begin at 10am, with a graveside to follow at South Park Cemetery.

Con profundo pesar: anunciamos el fallecimiento de David Gloria Moreno, de 69 años, el pasado 24 de junio de 2026 en Baytown, Texas. Falleció rodeado de su amorosa familia en santa paz. David fue el primogénito de Amelia Moreno Gloria y Santos Gloria, nació en Molina Enríquez, México, el 16 de marzo de 1957. Obtuvo una certificación en contabilidad de la Academia Prof. Moisés Sáenz Garza.
Se casó con María de Jesús Valenzuela el 4 de agosto de 1984, y exactamente un año después dieron la bienvenida a su primogénito, Wilfredo. Juntos criaron a tres hijos y construyeron una vida basada en amor, paciencia y unidad familiar. David estableció su propio negocio para sostener a su familia, sirviendo con orgullo a la comunidad de Texas durante más de 40 años.
Le sobreviven su madre, Amelia Gloria; su dedicada esposa, María de Jesús; sus tres hijos, Wilfredo, Edna y Evelyn; y sus siete nietos, a quienes amaba profundamente y a quienes dedicó su vida. También se ganó el respeto y el amor de su nuera, Elizabeth, y de sus yernos, Osbaldo y Luis, a quienes acogió como propios.
