Mr. David John Berg's Obituary
David Berg, 67, entered into rest Friday, November 28, 2008. David and his wife, Diane were very active in many organizations and groups including the Life Church of Katy serving as Servant Life Cell Leaders. They served as prison ministries with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as well as establishing Home Ministries for homeless veterans for over twelve years. Among David's many loves and passions were, most importantly, his grandchildren. In addition, he loved his football, NASCAR and other types of sports. Survivors include wife, Diane; children, Michael Berg, Sherrie Berg, Christine Berg, Steven Thinnes and wife, Tammi and Jennifer Thinnes-Willix and husband, Troy, Sr.; grandchildren, Troy Willix, Jr., Joseph Willix, Maura Thinnes and Samuel Thinnes; sister-in-law, Dana Bender-McIntosh and husband, Doug; niece, Heather McIntosh-Leslie and husband, Dan; great-niece, Abigail Leslie; sister, Vicky Berg; brothers, Eugene Berg and Joseph Berg; spiritual adult children, Ying Ming Shi Ball and husband, Michael, Ying Hua Shi and Ying Fang Shi.
