David Marion Arnold's Obituary
David Marion Arnold passed away on January 12, 2026 at the age of 53 in Houston, Texas. He was born on May 31, 1972 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
David grew up and attended school in Pearland where he was well known for being kind, a good listener and handsome. While still in high school, David began his modeling career with Page Parks of Houston. He won several contests and titles as a model, including “Mr. Jeans” and International Man Hunt “Man of the Year” 1995/6 in Singapore. David’s image graced magazine covers and was featured internationally. Fitness and health were always very important to David, who became a personal trainer to help others achieve their best.
Football was a particular passion for David. On Sundays, Mondays or any other time the ball was being thrown, David was watching, especially if the Texans or Cowboys were playing! He enjoyed competitive bowling as a young teen and was an avid collector of small antiques as an adult.
In 2014, cancer of the brain caused a halt to David’s career. He maintained as much independence as possible, while dealing with significant decline over the past 12 years. The cancer took so much from David, but those close to him say he continued to be the kind and thoughtful man he always was.
David was preceded in death by his father, James Robert Arnold Sr., and his brother, James Robert “Robby” Arnold Jr. He is survived by his devoted mother, Joyce Ann Frie Arnold, and numerous cousins.
A graveside service to celebrate David’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026, at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas. Family and friends are welcome to attend and honor his memory.
