I have known Danny from the Midway Airlines days. Danny has always been an incredible person, Employee and always did what was right. I have always loved this man and respected him. I am very sorry to Danny's wife and family for losing Danny too early in life, yet I am glad Danny is at peace after his fight. Southwest Airlines has lost an incredible Leader.

My deepest sympathy for your family's loss. Danny was a great friend & mentor. Being a new manager at Southwest Danny was always there if you had a question or just needed a little friendly guidance. Definitely one of the best. He will be greatly missed!!!

Danny was always ready with a helping hand when I first started on Line RON in HOU. I will never forget the 4 AM games of spades on the old picnic table between gates 3 and 5 at the old terminal. After he became Manager at HOU, he taught me to "Danny-ize" our workload to ensure nothing was over-looked. He was a good friend and I will miss him. Evan Truettner
