Mr. Dann Wheelock's Obituary
Dann Wheelock, age 72 of Pearland, Texas, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 8,2018, with his family by his side. Dann was born in Witchia Falls, Texas and was a longtime resident of Irving. At the young age of 19, Dann proudly joined the Marines. He fought in the Vietnam War as a Combat Engineer and Demolitions Expert. He was honorablly discharged as a Corperal 1972. After he served his country, Dann worked and retired as an auto mechanic. He loved the outdoors, riding motorcycles, playing video games and camping in his adored Casita.
Dann was preceded in death by his mother Mary Lee, stepfather "Dude" Bryant, his father Don Wheelock and stepmother Hattie, and his brother Donn Wheelock.
Dann is survived by his wife of 13 years, Karan Wheelock. His son Nathan Wheelock and his wife Diana, granddauhters Alshay and Lillian. His half brother Larry Wheelock and his life partner Roger Stevens. His step sons, Allan Hebert and his fiancee Jennifer Fishbeck. Aaron Hebert and his wife Lisa, grandchildren Annalynne, Caelan, and Taylor.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 12, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at South Park Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm. at the South Park Funeral Home; graveside services to immediately follow.
