It was May ,1998 the day i moved into my house next door to Daniel G. Sanchez. I have happily lived next door to him for 27 years. In those years i had the pleasure of love and acceptance from Raquel, Silvia, Daniel Jr. and Arturo.
My story begins on the day i met Daniel Sanchez Gonzales:

We were burning the top of my wedding cake ornament, (2 doves holding wedding rings.) Sounds grim, I know.
I was a little embarrassed but, ready for some humor! I told him what it was I was burning and explained that I was recently divorced after 25 years of marriage.
Daniel laughed and said, "Well if it lasted 25 years, it should at least burn 25 minutes!" It did burn completely up in 25 minutes!
Good closure for me . . . AND I've been the crazy neighbor ever since!

Ito Daniel was a loving grandfather who enjoyed gardening and took pride in his plants. I will remember him for his humor and devotion to his family. I’m thankful for the time God granted us with him and to have witnessed the loving bond he formed with my children, his great grandkids. Ito always greeted us happy and waved us goodbye with a sweet hug, kiss, and a blessing “Que Dios los bendiga”. This is one of the many memories I will hold on to. We will always miss him and love him. May he rest in peace.
