Dale Wayne Simmons' Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Dale Wayne Simmons announce his passing from this life on June 2, 2021. Try and rest easy as he is now with Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
Dale was born on April 5, 1952. At 69 years of age Dale was taken too early and we will miss him dearly. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Dale was a successful businessman, loving father, and family member to many. His hobbies included anywhere from fishing and hunting to collecting stamps and various other collections of sorts; he was a man of many things and always surprised his family with new adventures.
Dale is survived by his beloved son and daughter, Jimmy Dale and Dana Simmons. His former wife and friend, Bamnan Simmons, stepchildren Jeff and Angie Beaty, sister Shirley Perkins and Patty Stone and his brother James Simmons. Dale was a very proud Uncle and “Happy Pappy” to many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. His nieces and nephews include: Cindy, Sandra, Jason, Jeremy, Little Les, Caleb, Sarah, Kristen and James River. His grandchildren include: Emily Ann, Dogan, Amanda, Ian, Sarah, Noah, Lily Gavin, Benjamin, Landyn, Kaysen, Kinlee, Alexa Jo and Patrick. He was also a proud Great Uncle to many more.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, James and Miriam Simmons, and his dear brother, Donnie Simmons. Along with his most recent angel, his amazing grandson, Eli.
Dale was a wonderful man. He was an amazing father with a soft heart for his children. He was very proud and always made sure that his children knew they were loved. He will be remembered mostly for his smile and his humor. He had the greatest laugh in the world. He was outgoing, fun and witty. He was selfless and willing to help anyone he could at any time. He was also a true man of God. He loved being with his family and seeing the joy in all our hearts as we celebrated life together; especially during our Simmons Annual Family Reunion where the love was immense, and laughter was never ending.
