Criselda Alvarado's Obituary
Dr. Criselda Z. Alvarado, EdD, of Pearland, passed away on August 26th, 2017 at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital in Houston.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Jose Antonio Alvarado; son Nicolas Alvarado, his wife Jennifer and granddaughters Liara and Amaya; Daughter Karin Marshall, her husband Jonathan and grandchildren James, David, and Abigail. Shis is also survived by her sisters Alma Bowers and husband Michael; Delia Aleman and husband Raul; and brother Pablo Guajardo and wife Pearl; and several nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be held at Friendswood United Methodist Church at 110 N. Friendswood Dr. in Friendswood, Texas at 10:00 AM on Saturday September 23rd, 2017. Pastor Cesar Martinez of CrossRoads UMC will be officiating at Dr. Alvarado's memorial.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the Criselda Z. G. Alvarado Educational Scholarship/Memorial Fund that has been set up at Frost Bank. Donations can be made by using the "send money" option with online banking to the phone number 832-928-1968, or in person at any Frost Bank location. Donations can also be made by check or cash at the memorial service. All money received will go towards a scholarship for students seeking out a degree in Education.
