Constance "Connie" Lukens Wittstruck's Obituary
Constance “Connie” Chauvin Lukens Wittstruck passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019 at the age of 76.
Connie was born on May 12, 1943 in Galveston, Texas to Gustave Rundell Chauvin and Alta “Bebe” Rosson Chauvin and was one of eight children. She was a graduate of La Marque High School and attended Alvin Community College.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Wayne Chauvin & Gary Chauvin, and granddaughter Hope Elizabeth Riddle.
Connie is survived by her long-time friend, Bill Stewart of Tiki Island and dog, Bekey. Daughter, Theresa Riddle and husband Larry. Son, Jerry Lukens, Jr. Grandchildren; Ryan A. Riddle & Casey, Laura Wilkerson & Michael, Reece Riddle & Katrina, & Nathan Riddle. Great-Grand Children; Rylee Crain, Kaylee Riddle, Elizabeth & Charlee Wilkerson, Blane & Blair Riddle. Siblings; Alan Chauvin & wife Gladys, Holly Chauvin, Kenny Chauvin & wife Cheri McLaughlin, Frances Evans and husband Tim, Brian Chauvin and wife Krissy. Sister-in-law Peggy Chauvin. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Connie was a talented professional artist where she enjoyed painting portraits, murals, landscape and nautical scenes. Her paintings have won awards throughout the Gulf Coast and Houston areas. Connie also taught art in college continuing education & area community classes and at her former art studio in Pearland. She also owned her own accounting business and had many years of experience in public accounting.
Connie was known for her love of animals. She formerly raised and bred miniature horses. Her hobbies included, woodworking, photography, gardening and fishing.
The Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 10:00 am at South Park Funeral Home at 1310 N. Main St., Pearland, Texas 77581.
