Clinton Wayne Campbell
Mr. Clinton “Wayne” Campbell, 78, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 in M.D. Anderson Hospital. Wayne was born to Mary Evelyn and Clinton Franklin Campbell on January 6, 1936.
He graduated from Milby High School in 1954 then went on to the National Guard Reserve.
Wayne was a long time member of Scottish Rite Free Masonry Lodge No. 1189 and AFL-CIO & CLC Local 408.
Wayne was a loving husband to his wife, Shirley since 1966. He was also a devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and sharing with others.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Shirley Campbell, his daughters Lisa Campbell Workman and husband Keith Workman, Tina Spencer and husband Rick Spencer, Penny Curry, LaWayne Campbell Barnhill and husband Gary Barnhill, granddaughters Erica Workman, Erin Workman, Megan Curry, Amy Custer, grandson Shawn Curry, and numerous friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Mary Evelyn Campbell and Clinton Franklin Campbell, Aunt Florence Lowrey, grandmothers Florida Hennessy and Mary Campbell, grandfathers Lawrence Hennessy and Charles Franklin Campbell.
His grandchildren meant the world to him. His family and friends are left with many wonderful memories. He will be remembered in many hearts forever.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 10:00 am at South Park funeral home (1310 N. Main St. Pearland, TX 77581). Burial will be following at Forest Park East. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 pm.
