Mr. Clem T. York's Obituary
Clem York, 78, of Spicewood, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 with his family surrounding him in love. Clem was born March 12, 1935 in Los Angeles, California. For the past 58 years he was a loving and caring husband to Sharon York. Clem was a small business owner in Pasadena, Texas for 35 years then decided to take Sharon to the Hill Country in Spicewood, Texas to retire. He spent 20 happy years there where he enjoyed the lake, laughed and played with the family on the pontoon boat. Clem was such a hard-working man for not only his family, but many others around him. He was always willing to lend a hand and will truly be missed. Clem is survived by his wife Sharon York and 3 children Cindy Smiley-Freeman and husband George "Trip" of Pasadena, Tx, Sandy York Piggott and Lijoy Kurian of Deer Park, Tx, and David York and wife Gay of La Porte, Tx; six grandchildren and their spouses, and ten great grandchildren, all of whom loved and admired him tremendously. In honor of his life, visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Wednesday, May 8th at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas, 1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX 77581. A service will be held in celebration of his life Thursday, May 9th, at 10:00 am, South Park Funeral Home, Pearland, with burial to follow.
